Oven-baked Chickpeas with Smoked Paprika. Great way to add texture and crunch to any salad
These crispy little bites are amazing for salads, or for just shoveling into your face by themselves. And given that they are healthy, you don’t need to feel guilty if you pig out on them which is something I love! These are also perfect for power bowls as they give that extra protein kick! Give them a go and get creative with the seasoning!
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- Preheat oven to 425. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Next up lay the chickpeas out on a couple pieces of paper towel and dry them off as much as possible. Cover a sheet tray with tin foil and place the chickpeas on the tray. Sprinkle the chickpeas with salt and just a little bit of oil. Place in the oven for 35 minutes. Check on the chickpeas every ten minutes and give the pan a shake to avoid sticking.
- After 35 minutes, remove chickpeas from oven and sprinkle on the smoked paprika. Place back into the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Remove and let cool. Boom - they're done! Enjoy!
